Welcome back to my blog! It's been a month since my last update. March is here, but the mornings in Hokkaido's mountains are still very cold. Today, it was as cold as -17°C. The Otofuke River, which flows into Lake Nukabira, has started to unfreeze. This made a mist appear over the lake early in the morning. Happy New Year 2024! Wishing you all a prosperous and joyful year ahead. This winter, the Taushubetsu Bridge has defied expectations by remaining above water. Normally prone to damage from ice and thawing, it seems the bridge has been spared further deterioration for now. Last year, parts of the bridge collapsed, signaling its fragile state.
