〈雨が降り、雲がたなびく糠平湖〉
14年前の今日、2009年4月28日。ぱらつく雨の糠平湖で、山肌に垂れた雲の下、タウシュベツ川橋梁がぼんやりと浮かんでいた。
湖底に雪はもうなく、濡れた土と切り株が荒涼とした雰囲気を醸していた。

A light rain falls over Nukabira Lake, clouds hanging low against the mountains. Through the gray mist the Taushubetsu Bridge arches, faint but unmistakable.
The snow is long gone; what’s left is damp earth dotted with old stumps, giving the lakebed a raw, deserted feel. Nothing flashy—just rain‑dark soil, cut tree trunks, and an aging concrete bridge keeping quiet in late April.
